Emlyn and I travelled to and from work together for nearly twenty years, we were neighbours too. He always made us laugh and in his later years he would ring me nearly every day asking me to help him with a crossword clue or anagram. He taught my son and gave him an interest in the Welsh language. My son now teaches in a Welsh-medium school! You were one of life’s characters Em.
